Officially
opened in September 2005, The Campus Ice Centre will be one of the
premier ice-skating facilities in Ontario. Alleviating an ice shortage
in Oshawa, the facility will provide user’s of all ages and
genders with available ice time throughout the week. It is anticipated
that over 600,000 users will frequent the building, primarily between
the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. seven days a week, 365 days a
year.
User groups that include College/University teams and minor hockey
associations will be the main tenants of the arena, but management
staff will also target hosting major hockey tournaments, camps, schools
and other events. Looking to rent ice time, the community room or
